Applications now open for Yellow Academy Audition workshops
Saturday, 10 April, 2010 After a very successful round of Taster Talks, Yellow Earth and ALRA are now accepting applications for the second stage of their exciting project YELLOW ACADEMY. Aimed at introducing age 16-30’s British East Asians* to theatre and professional acting, through a series of training activities taking place in four major cities in the UK: Belfast, Birmingham, London, and Manchester, from February - August 2010.To apply please read the information and download and complete the forms on our Yellow Academy page.

Dates and Places for Yellow Academy 2010
Saturday, 20 February, 2010 Yellow Academy 2010 is an exciting new initiative between Yellow Earth (UK’s leading East Asian* theatre company) and ALRA (The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts). Outreaching to Belfast, Birmingham, London, and Manchester through February to May 2010, we will be bringing together a group of enthusiastic and curious young people down to London for a free week of acting training in Summer 2010.Activities are free and open to all British East Asians aged 16-30 curious or interested in actor training. No previous experience necessary.

Yellow Academy: Theatre Outreach Contract - invitation to tender
Tuesday, 11 August, 2009 ALRA (Academy of Live and Recorded Arts) and Yellow Earth Theatre are looking for an outreach worker for Yellow Academy, to assist in finding the next generation of British East Asian actors and raise their awareness around actor training, bursaries and opportunities available.
