Yellow Earth: internship in theatre
Yellow Earth is offering a part time two month internship to support the company’s work, including an International Playreading Festival and a Youth Theatre project.This is an opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic, London based intern to support Yellow Earth’s Co-Artistic Directors, General Manager, Education Associate and marketing work. You will be involved in helping to promote a festival in June, follow up monitoring and evaluation and then supporting and promoting our youth theatre project in July.

Dear ActorsYellow Earth is casting for the Typhoon 6 International East Asian Playreading Festival, Sunday 21st to Thursday 25th June 2009 at Greenwich Theatre, East London, Crooms Hill London, SE10 8ES
Yellow Earth is holding two workshop audition days for a variety of East Asian* roles of all ages. (Asian American, British East Asian, Chinese, Singaporean, Vietnamese, Vietnamese Australian etc)
* London based adult actors
* Excellent sight-reading required
* Please list your accents
* Specify your experience
* Deadline for submissions: noon Tuesday 19th May
- Audition workshops for DIALOGUE & REBUTTAL and WONDERLAND will be Wednesday 27th May in East London.
- Audition workshops for possible recalls and all other plays on Thursday 4th June.

Yellow Earth partners with Greenwich Theatre for Typhoon 6 as we take our annual International Playreading festival - featuring some of the most exciting theatre from China, Singapore, Vietnam, America and the UK – to Greenwich Theatre for the very first time.
A unique and vital event in the theatre calendar, TYPHOON 6 showcases the best of contemporary East Asian theatre with plays that happily cross continents': a “madwoman” is afraid of cameras; a rap band is searching for its identity; a migrant family sees the collapse of an entire life of hard work... just some of the extraordinary, entertaining and thought provoking stories featuring in TYPHOON 6.
TYPHOON 6 will run from Sunday 21 - Thursday 25th June, 2009.

This autumn the partnership will continue with the premieres of two plays at Greenwich Theatre, Boom! from Singapore and wAve from the USA. These two plays featured in the 2008 International Typhoon 5 Festival.
